FFi Racing has, been created by Owen MacPhilliamy and Michael (Mick) Troy. With the plan being the creation of a Cycling Team based out of regional NSW, in and around Orange. The aim of growing to race and compete on the World Stage at some stage in the not too distant future
As time progresses, more content will be uploaded to this website, including race reports, calendar of events that the FFi Crew will be attending and pics of the guys in action.

Bunch Riding

     Hi All,   Good riding was had over the weekend, with good turn outs for both bunch rides on Saturday and Sunday. Welcome to newcomer and racer Adam Ferris. Saturday's ride saw a decent size bunch head out for the fast paced coffee ride out through Forrest Reefs, Tallwood and back to Bills Beans for coffee. Plenty of holes in the road saw all the boys on the look out and having to keep their wits about them. Add in the bit of wind that picked up. Sunday saw a bunch of 8 do the Milthorpe Coffee ride. Sprints were won by Mick Troy and Gus Tobin and KOM went to Owen...

Back Riding

 The FFI Boys can be seen back out on their bike now, having gotten over their ham sandwich scare and Rod at some stages focusing on the bicycle and finding some form although Joe is suffering from a bit of a cold at the moment. Up coming racing for the team consists of the last round of the Chocolate Foot XC series this weekend for Rod and Joe, the Workshop Monkeys. They are in the fight for 3rd in the Pairs category so best of luck to both of them! Not to forget Joe's attempt at the 24 Hours of Adrenalin World Solo Championships in October... Panuara Club Race

   Sunday saw the start of the Orange Cycle Club's spring calendar racing in the build up for the Christmas Cup. A 55km Handicap was in store for the riders which saw 5km of flat and the rest of the course is either going up or down. The race left Forrest Reefs, dropped down to Long Swamp and then around the front of the mine, up to Cadia Road, taking a left heading down and then out of Four Mile Creek, down to Panuara, Flyers Creek, Errowanbang and then up the Piggery and back to Forrest Reefs.  On Sunday the 12th September the Orange Cycle Club held a 52km handicap road race.   Riders from Orange, Bathurst and Nowra competed around the demanding Forest Reefs-Panuara course. Acknowledged by riders as the toughest local race circuit, competitors completed a race route that included Forest Reefs, Four Mile Creek, Panuara and return.   Overall winner on the day, riding off the 11 minute mark was noted hill climbing specialist Brian Kennelly who finished in overall first position in a time of 1:49:09.
