FFi Racing has, been created by Owen MacPhilliamy and Michael (Mick) Troy. With the plan being the creation of a Cycling Team based out of regional NSW, in and around Orange. The aim of growing to race and compete on the World Stage at some stage in the not too distant future
As time progresses, more content will be uploaded to this website, including race reports, calendar of events that the FFi Crew will be attending and pics of the guys in action.

 Saturday morning saw a good number turn up for the bakery ride leaving Roberts Bakery at 7am. Notable absentees were Mick Cain who had ridden down to Sydney for the MS Sydney to Gong ride and Mason Manwarring who was tapering for the same ride. Interesting to note the two riders training principles. Heading out to Cadia road was a nice sedate pace, and along Cadia road until traffic building up behind nessitated single file, so Mick rolled through and found himself off the front of the bunch so in tribute to Mick and Mason, put his head down and just kept going, not digging deep but...

Orange Cycle Club Time Trial

The Orange CC held an 18km Time Trial yesterday in windy conditions on the testing Tallwood Loop. There were a large number of starters especially considering the blustery conditions. There were a couple of notable absenteees including local strong man Mason Manwarring, new comer Rodney Forest and FFi rider Rodney Farrell. The beauty of the time trial format means that local triathalon riders could also participate. Riders started at minute intervals, with the aim to set the quickest time at the finish line. For many riders this could create great bragging rights if they set a faster time...

After a bit of a lay off for various reasons, FFi Riders are back into the full swing of training. Rod Farrell is back on the bike after a bit of an injury layoff and keen to re find his form that won him the Christmas Cup last year. Joe Szpytko is getting over a hard slog at the World Mountain Bike 24 Hours. Owen is recovering from his crash at Wagga that has left a bit of tissue damage to his hip and re aggravated an old injury and Mick Troy is nearly done at uni for the year, currently studying for exams.
