State Road Championships. Owen Macphillamy, Mick Troy and Joe Szpytko headed down to Kurrajong on Sunday morning for the NSW Cycling State Championships. Owen and Mick racing in the combined U23/Elite race that was covering 165km and 5 laps of a demanding course including a brutal 2km climb on the Putty Road while Joe being team mechanic and feed man extraordinaire. The acceptable pace resumed after the sprint and carried on until the Airport when things started to wind up a bit for the final...

Thursday Ride

05/08/2010 20:08
Today Mason and Mick headed out for Mason's usual Thursday lunchtime jaunt, with Mick taking it a bit easy heading into the weekend's state Championships, did a bit of sitting on (except for when the road tilted up hill). Mason being a driving force into the headwind, coupled with rain and hail, made it a nice afternoon in the saddle.   The file can be viewed on Garmin Connect: https://connect.garmin.com/activity/43225445
