What's Happening

Well it has been a weird few weeks, well almost a month. We had Owen MacPhillamy and Orange Cycle Club member Charlie Gascoyne come crashing down in the Wagga to Albury race. Both are recovering well though Charlie probably wont be back on a bike until next year.

The weather then set in with rain for most of August and temperatures barely reaching positive single digits. Mick Troy headed back to Berry for some Uni work and found that his hip had moved and so was in a spot of bother for a while. With some physio and the Uni work out of the way he is back on the bike and getting quick again.

With the weather clearing many riders are coming out of the last month with a mixture of form. This will prove interesting this weekend as the Orange Cycle Club will host a testing 55km handicap around the back of Cadia Gold mine. It is know as the Panuara loop.

FFi MTBer’s were out and about trying to race but with heavy rain and strong winds their last race was cancelled.

Now with the sun coming out and the temperature very slowly rising the FFi Racing guys will be out trying to find some legs in time for “The Grafton” in October.  They have decided to miss “The Goulburn” due to the few set backs in the last month.
